Vineyard Leadership Institute in Columbus Ohio, in association with Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky, bring you this teaching series to train lay leaders in the Church. The courses available on Kingdom Discipleship School were originally taped for Seminary cohort classes currently in progress at Vineyard Columbus. They are lectures from master level classes at Asbury and the classes offered on KDS will be awarded continuing education credits through Asbury Seminary. As a student on KDS you will be asked to participate in a forum discussion facilitated by the VLI team. Basic Christian Doctrine

A foundational course at Asbury Theological Seminary, this introductory course bases the theological formation of students upon biblical data as well as upon the classical Christian tradition, contemporary theology, and Wesleyan theological distinctives with a view to helping students grasp the importance of theology for the practice of ministry. Taught by one of Asbury’s distinguished theological professors, Dr. Stephen A. Seamands, by enrolling in this course you will have access to lecture video and syllabus material used for masters level classes at Asbury.
Dr. Ben Witherington is a prolific author of more than 30 books and six commentaries and is Professor of New Testament for Doctorial Studies, takes you through this introductory course on the New Testament. You will learn the literature of the New Testament in its socio-historical, literary, and canonical contexts. It is a critical study of the New Testament providing a lecture video and syllabus material used for masters level classes at Asbury.
